TRAVEL ADVISORY: NATIONWIDE FLIGHT SCHEDULE REDUCTIONS
The FAA has announced significant flight schedule reductions across 40 major U.S. cities starting Friday, November 7, 2025. Travelers should expect delays and possible cancellations.

What you can do:
  • Check your flight status frequently using your airline's app or website.
  • Allow extra time for security checks, connections, and prepare for longer layovers.
  • Review airline change/cancellation policies—many carriers are offering waivers.
  • Pack essentials in your carry-on in case of overnight delays.
  • Arrive early at the airport to navigate longer lines.
If you booked travel through Emory, our travel agency partners will contact impacted travelers.

For the latest updates, visit your airline’s website, the FAA travel advisory page.
