Collaboration with Emory Researchers

Medical Administration

As a part of Procurement Services' commitment to improve communications with Emory's Scientific community, Procurement Services formed the Scientific Procurement Advisory Council in 2008.  Council members were nominated by their departments based on their knowledge and direct involvement in Emory's research issues and will meet with Procurement four to six times throughout each year.

The purpose of these Council meetings is to provide Emory Procurement insight to Emory's researchers' needs and to help Emory Procurement identify products and services essential to carry out their scientific research.  Procurement looks to this Council to help monitor and rate Emory's current scientific contract suppliers as well as identify potential gaps in suppliers that may be needed to fulfill Emory researchers' needs.
